Information We Collect

Bryti Health Continuing Education collects the following information to provide our continuing education services to California nurses:

• Name and contact information (email, phone)
• Profession (RN, LVN, Psychiatric Technician) and any additional credentials
• California license number and license expiration date
• CE completion records and post-test results
• Course enrollment and progress data
• CE Vault uploads and outside CE entries
• Program evaluation survey responses (stored anonymously)

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to deliver CE courses, issue certificates of completion, track your renewal progress, and communicate with you about your account and available programs. Survey responses are stored anonymously and used only in aggregate to improve future programs.

Data Sharing

We never sell your personal data and we do not share it with unaffiliated third parties for marketing purposes.

We may share limited information with service providers who help us operate the platform (payment processing, email delivery, hosting) under contract to use it only on our behalf. We may also disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or a valid regulatory request — for example, a records audit by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) or the California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT).

Data Retention

Continuing education completion records, certificates of completion, and associated attendance documentation are retained for a minimum of four (4) years as required of approved providers by the BRN (16 CCR §1458) and the BVNPT (16 CCR §2540.5). Anonymous survey responses may be retained indefinitely for program-improvement purposes.

Your California Privacy Rights

California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA, including the right to know what personal information we hold about you, the right to request deletion, and the right to correct inaccurate information. To exercise these rights email [email protected].

Because CE completion records must be retained for four years for board audit purposes, deletion requests will result in your personal identifiers being removed from the retained records while the underlying completion data is preserved in de-identified form.
